Inspirations: My mother completed 20 years in the Army while raising two children and completing a bachelor’s and master’s degrees

Goals: Complete a master’s degree in business healthcare management

Off-duty interests: Brazilian jiu-jitsu, weight lifting and competition

Commander’s comments: “Sergeant Squire transitioned seamlessly into his new medical career field,” said Col. Constance Jackson, 56th MDOS commander. “He is diverse in several areas of mental health to include shadowing in other elements like ADAPT and Family Advocacy. He triages patients daily for suicidal and homicidal ideations and gathers pertinent information, ensuring high quality prompt care is provided to members in times of need. He ensures and manages training requirements for maximum deployment readiness for all active-duty members. Sergeant Squire sets a high standard that inspires his peers and epitomizes integrity, service before self and excellence in all that he does.”
