“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
~ Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
Is there a “light from within” in you? How is it people see you in the dark times? What is your testimony to others when your life is “going to hell in a hand basket?” The take away is this: the light from within does not need to begin with yourself but with God. Allow Him to enter your heart and be the core of who you really are. There is no doubt pain and suffering will come in this life, and dealing with it alone is not easy. Psalm 112:4 says this, “Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.” Allow the Lord to begin shining His light from within you and let others see the beauty that can come out of that. Experience God’s love to the point it is seen by others.
