Chaplain’s Thoughts

William James

“Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact.”

~ William James

Just what do you believe about the value of human life? The statement above does not say belief will create life worth living but will help. This may sound quite pragmatic, but there is real value in belief … especially if it leads to action. If, for whatever the reason, you do not believe life is worth living, you are wrong. No matter how bad it gets – and it can get really, REALLY bad sometimes – life is always worth the living; God says so in His word. Psalm 100:3 tells us, “Know that the LORD Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.” From a faith perspective, God cares for each and every one of us on a very personal level. It is faith that will carry us through the toughest times in life, and we do not have to go it alone.

Blessings from Above …

Gratitude cultivates exceptional leadership
