Justice Report

The following is a list of administrative actions issued at Luke Air Force Base for March:

56th Mission Support Group

Articles 15

• A technical sergeant received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The member received a reduction in rank to staff sergeant, suspended forfeiture of $1,538 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

• A staff sergeant received an Article 15 for breaking a no-contact order. The member received a suspended reduction in rank to senior airman, forfeiture of $300 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

• A senior airman received an Article 15 for breaking a no-contact order and assaulting an NCO. The member received a reduction in rank to airman first class, suspended forfeiture of $1,017 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

56th Maintenance Group

Articles 15

• A staff sergeant received an Article 15 for failure to go to the appointed place of duty at the time prescribed, failure to obey a lawful order and dishonorably failing to pay debt. The member received a reduction in rank to senior airman, suspended restriction to Luke Air Force Base for 60 days and a reprimand.

• A staff sergeant received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The member received a reduction in rank to senior airman, forfeiture of $1,164 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

• A senior airman received an Article 15 for failure to obey a general order or regulation. The member received forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months, suspended forfeiture of $250 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

• A senior airman received an Article 15 for driving while drunk. The member received a reduction in rank to airman first class and a reprimand.

• An airman first class received an Article 15 for failure to obey two lawful orders. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

Article 15 punishments for similar offenses may vary from case to case based on the circumstances of the offense and such factors as an offender’s age, military and disciplinary record, financial condition and suitability for continued service. To ensure fair administration of justice throughout the Luke community, the legal office reviews all cases.
