Off-duty interests: Physical training, hiking, riding quads, golf and shooting

Commander’s comments: “Sergeant Vitali is simply one of our best NCOs,” said Maj. Sean Gibbs 56th SFS commander. “He is a phenomenal Airman, defender and leader who embodies the Air Force core values. He is the sharpest staff sergeant in all three flights. He was recently certified as a flight chief with high evaluation scores and qualified the first time on a demanding certification, which is extremely rare for an E-5. He apprehended three wanted felons, for which he received praise from Glendale police, processed 12 shoplifting incidents, two felony traffic stops and two child endangerment cases.”
