ASU cadets go through ‘tough’ paces

Arizona State University cadets low-crawl through a ditch filled with muddy water April 18 at the Ability to Survive and Operate area on Luke Air Force Base. The Air Force “tough-mudder” type obstacle course had 18 obstacles and was 1.5 miles long. The event helped equip and prepare Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets for field training and entrance into the active-duty Air Force. The course also enhanced leadership skills, the ability to work as a team, Airman’s Manual knowledge, as well as emphasizing a fit-to-fight mentality.

CSAF All Call — bus pickup points

Gen. Mark Welsh III, Chief of Staff of the Air Force, all call is 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hangar 999. There will be bus pickups at the points indicated on the map. They begin at 9 a.m. and the last pickup will be at 10 a.m. All personnel must be in place by 10:15 a.m.
