“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned or worn. It is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude.”

~ Denis Waitley

Where is it you find genuine happiness? How do you even define happiness? We have all heard the old saying “it’s not the destination, it’s the journey.” Too many of us have ill-defined views of what happiness is all about and how to achieve it. We may have a void in our lives, and we try to fill that empty space with all sorts of things many of which are not healthy physically, emotionally and even spiritually. Please stop trying to fill eternal needs with temporal wants. I submit to you that real happiness, better defined as joy, only comes from above. Proverbs 10:28 tells us, “The hope of the righteous brings joy, but the expectation of the wicked will perish.” Have you experienced God’s “love, grace, and gratitude?” If not, you can today!

Blessings from Above …

Today, our end strength stands at just over 323,000 Airmen, a reduction of roughly 100,000 personnel. Because of...

Gut check: Where do you stand?
