The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Aug. 11 through 17:
Security forces issues citations for 24 moving violations and two nonmoving violations.
Aug. 13: Security forces responded to a report of a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Litchfield Road and Lightning Street. The motorcycle rider was transported by Southwest Ambulance to a local hospital with lower extremity and spinal injuries. Contact was made with Glendale police.
Aug. 15: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at Lightning Gate from Wichita County Sheriff’s Office, Texas, for fraudulent use/possession of identifying information. The warrant was verified through WCSO who relayed they would not extradite. A patrol escorted the subject off the installation.
Aug. 16: Security forces responded to a report of an assault in Bldg. 404. There were no apparent physical injuries and medical attention was not required. An individual was witnessed to have walked toward and shoved the victim while using derogatory language toward the victim. The suspect was apprehended for suspected violations of Uniform Code of Military Justice Article 91/insubordinate conduct toward an NCO and Article 128/assault.
Security forces responded to two alarm activations.

When traveling via public transportation, use well-lit, busy stops. Stay alert, and avoid dozing or daydreaming on the bus.
Loudly say, “Leave me alone” if someone hassles you. Watch who gets off with you at your stop, and if you feel uneasy, walk directly to a place where there are other people.
