The 56th Security Forces Squadron handled the following incidents Aug. 31 through Sept. 6 at Luke Air Force Base:
Tickets
Security forces issued citations for 17 moving violations.
Emergency responses
Sept. 3: Security forces responded to a report of a medical emergency at the base exchange involving a retiree, whose head was injured upon falling while walking in the parking garage. Medical arrived on-scene and transported the individual to West Valley Hospital for further evaluation.
Nonemergency responses
Sept. 4: Security forces responded to a warrant’s hit at South Gate involving a nonmilitary-affiliated civilian for failure to pay from Phoenix police, which declined to extradite. The civilian was denied entry to the installation and released.
Sept. 5: Security forces received a report from Glendale police concerning an intoxicated under-age active-duty member they picked up at West Gate Entertainment District. Glendale police arrived on base and released the Airman to the control of security forces. The Airman consented to a portable breath test, which indicated a .113 breath alcohol content. The individual was charged with Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and was released to the unit first sergeant.
