Barrett Jackson and the Phoenix Symphony invite veterans, military members and their families to receive free tickets to The Sound of Speed 2 pit road festival and concert Oct. 24 at the Phoenix Symphony and 3rd Street. Hats off to HEROES
The Hats Off to HEROES event is 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14
at Reid Park Bandshell in Tucson and is part of the Tucson Veterans Day Weekend Celebration. A 5k fun run, resource fair, military displays, food court, live music and fireworks are included.
Dorm inspection
The next quarterly dorm inspection is 8 a.m. Oct. 23. The Outstanding Dorm Room Inspection will be held the following Monday on Oct. 26 by Col. David Shoemaker, 56th Fighter Wing vice commander and Chief Master Sgt. John Mazza, 56th FW command chief. Ladies crud tournament
Teams are now forming for the ladies crud tournament happening at 6 p.m. Oct. 16 in the old officer’s club, Bldg. 750. Entry fee is $30 per team.
