The following is a list of administrative actions and Articles 15 issued in July at Luke Air Force Base:
56th Maintenance Group
Courts-martial
• A senior airman was found guilty of one charge and six specifications in violation of Article 120, sexual abuse of a child. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman basic, forfeiture of all pay, confinement for 25 years and a dishonorable discharge.
Articles 15
• A senior airman received nonjudicial punishment for failure to go. The individual received a suspended reduction in rank to airman first class and a reprimand.
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for failure to go and making a false official statement. The individual received a suspended reduction in rank to airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.
Administrative discharges
• An airman basic was discharged for drug abuse.
Administrative demotions
• A senior airman was demoted to the rank of airman first class for failure to keep fit.
56th Mission Support Group
Courts-martial
• A senior airman was found guilty of one charge and one specification in violation of Article 120, sexual assault and one charge and one specification in violation of Article 128, assault consummated by a battery. The individual received a reduction in rank to airman basic, confinement for four years and a dishonorable discharge.
Articles 15
• An airman first class received nonjudicial punishment for larceny. The individual received a suspended reduction in rank to airman, suspended forfeiture of $878 pay, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand.
56th Medical Group
Administrative discharges
• An airman first class was discharged for domestic violence.
Punishments for similar offenses may vary from case to case based on the circumstances of the offense and factors such as an offender’s age, military and disciplinary record, financial condition and suitability for continued service. To ensure fair administration of justice throughout the Luke AFB community, the legal office reviews all cases.
