SFS issued citations for 105 moving and 15 nonmoving violations.
Traffic-related incidents
June 28: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the Luke AFB Exchange parking garage. SFS issued one citation. There were no injuries.
June 28: SFS responded to a report of a vehicle vs. fixed object accident on the flightline. The driver was distracted and grazed a pole. SFS issued no citations.
July 12: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the Exchange. SFS issued no citations. There were no injuries.
July 14: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the Exchange. SFS issued one citation. There were no injuries.
July 14: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in base housing. SFS issued one citation. There were no injuries.
July 17: SFS responded to a report of a government-owned vehicle vs. fixed object accident, which occurred at Bldg. 936. While backing a GOV, the driver struck a light pole knocking it down. SFS issued one citation.
July 17: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident. One driver ran the stop sign at Bong Lane and Falcon Street and hit another vehicle. There we no injuries. SFS issued one citation.
July 19: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at Bldg. 958. One vehicle backed into another vehicle. SFS issued one citation.
July 20: SFS responded to a report of a government-owned vehicle vs. fixed object accident on the flightline. While backing a GOV, the driver struck a sunshade pole. SFS issued no citation.
July 21: SFS responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at Bldg. 122. One vehicle backed into another vehicle. SFS issued one citation.
Emergency responses
June 28: SFS responded to a report of a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center. The individual was wanted by the Arizona Department of Game & Fish for possession of marijuana. The department extradited the individual.
June 28: SFS responded to a report of a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center. The individual was wanted by Department of Public Safety for littering and failure to appear. The department extradited the individual.
June 28: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the commissary. An individual complained of low blood sugar. The individual was transported to Del Webb Hospital for further evaluation.
June 28: SFS responded to a report of a drug incident at Lightning Gate. An SFS military working dog alerted on a vehicle where .5g of possible marijuana was discovered. Glendale police responded, cited and released the individual. The individual was denied entry to the base.
June 29: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at Balfour Beatty maintenance shop. An individual made complaints of numbness in the left arm and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for further evaluation.
June 29: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the Exchange. An individual complained of dizziness and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for further evaluation.
June 29: SFS responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving alcohol phoned from Glendale police to the base defense operations center. Glendale police also responded. The intoxicated individual became upset and a physical altercation erupted. The intoxicated individual was underage and the other individual had provided the alcohol. The intoxicated individual was transported to Abrazo West Campus. The second individual was transported to Bldg. 179 for processing.
July 1: SFS responded to a report of contraband found in a vehicle during a random vehicle inspection at South Gate. SFS apprehended and charged the individual with Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
July 5: SFS responded to a report of gate runners at South Gate who were located at Silver Wings Pool. SFS escorted a civilian off base and a military member was transported to Bldg. 179 for processing.
July 9: SFS responded to a report of an unidentified individual carrying a backpack on the flightline taking pictures without a restricted area badge. Patrols were dispatched. Maintainers evacuated the location due to the suspicious nature of the backpack. SFS deemed the backpack not suspicious, and apprehended and searched the individual with negative findings. SFS transported the individual to Bldg. 179 for processing. The area was searched with negative findings, and the camera was seized for search by the office of special investigations.
July 10: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the commissary. The individual complained of chest and back pains and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for evaluation.
July 11: SFS responded to a report of transients living between the walls at the water treatment facility. One was identified as having a warrant for failure to pay through the DPS. DPS was contacted and denied extradition.
July 12: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at Bldg. 810. The individual complained of chest pains and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for evaluation.
July 12: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the Exchange. The individual had a one-inch cut on the right hand. The patient denied transport.
July 12: SFS responded to a report of a physical altercation. SFS took a statement from the victim since the assailant was not present for apprehension. The victim was directed to an agency for help.
July 12: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency in base housing. The individual complained of a panic attack, was treated and released.
July 13: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at South Gate. The individual complained of chest pains and migraine, and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for evaluation.
July 14: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the base track. The individual complained of chest pains and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for evaluation.
July 14: SFS responded to a report of an animal bite in base housing. The individual sustained a dog bite from a neighbor’s dog. The dog owner reported to SFS and was charged with an Article 92 of the UCMJ.
July 17: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the combat fitness tent. The individual complained of faintness. The individual refused transportation.
July 17: SFS responded to a warrant’s hit at South Gate Visitor Center for failure to appear. Glendale police extradited the individual.
July 18: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the Lightning Gate. The individual complained of diabetic shock and was transported to Abrazo West Campus for evaluation.
July 18: SFS responded to a report of a traffic stop at the Kachina Gate. Upon SFS approach, the driver threw a bag with two pills out of the window. Glendale police responded. The pills were identified as a controlled substance. Glendale police cited and released the individual.
July 19: SFS responded to a report of a medical emergency at the 61st Aircraft Maintenance Unit. An individual complained of lacerations on three fingers of the left hand. The individual self-transported to Abrazo West Campus for treatment.
Nonemergency responses
June 29: SFS responded to a report of shoplifting at the Luke Air Force Base Exchange. An individual attempted to depart the store without paying for merchandise totaling $134.30. Glendale police responded, cited and released the individual.
July 6: SFS responded to a report of shoplifting at the Exchange. An individual attempted to steal merchandise totaling $480.95. Glendale police responded, cited and released the individual.
July 14: SFS responded to a report of shoplifting at the Exchange. An individual attempted to depart the store without paying for merchandise totaling $73.25. Glendale police responded, cited and released the individual.
July 22: SFS identified an unsecured facility at Bldg. 1150. The building custodian conducted a walk-through with negative findings. The building was secured.

There were 29 alarm activations on base.
