RESERVISTS NOT PART OF EARLY RETIREMENT OFFER
Air Force reservists, including those in the Active Guard and Reserve, are not eligible for the Temporary Early Retirement Authority. Officials state that all components of the Air Force are working together to ensure the total force is prepared for manpower reductions in fiscal year 2013. LEAGUE OF UNITED LATIN AMERICAN CITIZENS CHAPTER MEETS APRIL 21
The March LULAC chapter will hold its fourth meeting on the B UTA, Saturday, April 21, 11 a.m. in the Mission Support Group conference room. All are welcome. VOLUNTEER TO HELP AT THE AIR SHOW MAY 19-20
Would you like to volunteer to help at the March Field AirFest in various areas of the show including food service, lost & found, children’s area, and more on May 19-20, 2012? IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR USAF MARATHON TEAM MARCH RUNNERS
For the second year in a row the 452d Air Mobility Wing is sending a team to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, for the USAF Marathon. Our team will travel on a C-17 departing March Field Sept. 14 for the Marathon the following day and return via military air on Sept. 16. All active, Guard, Reserve and Retirees are eligible to fly with us. Available seats on the mission are limited to 100, so it’s first-come, first-served. Right now seats are at 50% capacity, so DON’T DELAY!! USAF DEPUTY JAG VISITS MARCH ARB

FREE YMCA MEMBERSHIPS FOR MILITARY CHILDREN
The YMCA Military Outreach Program receives assistance from the Defense Department to pay for military dependent memberships and respite care for military family members. Active duty, National Guard and Reserve families are eligible to apply. For info and to see if qualified, contact Military OneSource at 800-342-9647.

MODIFICATION TO TUTOR.COM USAGE
The Tutor.com Adult Education Center, College Center and Career Center will no longer be available to active duty Air Force, Army, Marine Corps and deployed National Guard and Reserves adult service members, their spouses or their adult dependent children. The Department of Defense has issued funding modifications to ensure more tutoring sessions are available to dependent children in grades 1–12. DISTRACTED DRIVING ENFORCEMENT
Moreno Valley will be executing a “zero tolerance” policy to those operating hand-held cell phones while driving, as part of the Distracted Driving Awareness Month campaign. Drivers who break this law will be cited a minimum of $159, with subsequent tickets costing at least $279. For more info, contact the Moreno Valley Police Department at 951-486-6700.

MARCH FIELD AIR FEST WEBSITE OPERATIONAL

TRICARE DENTAL PROGRAM UNDER NEW ADMINISTRATION
Metropolitan Life Insurance Company will be the new dental contractor for the TRICARE Dental Program on May 1, 2012. MetLife will manage enrollment, claims processing, and customer service. OPERATION HOMEFRONT OFFERS MONEY MANAGEMENT SEMINARS
Operation Homefront Southern California presents Managing Your Money, a financial literacy seminar April 28, in San Diego and April 29, in Oceanside. Both seminars are from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and May 12, in Twenty-nine Palms from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. They are free and open to all military and their dependents, however, seating is limited so couples must register individually. SENIOR NCOS STEP UP TO ASSIST COMMAND CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT KELLY
A team of senior noncommissioned officers-in-charge have volunteered to fill the shoes of the 452d Air Mobility Wing’s command chief, Ericka Kelly, from March 26 through June 14, during Kelly’s temporary duty for her civilian job. IDOL COMPETITION COMES TO MORENO VALLEY
The Moreno Valley, City’s Parks and Community Services Department, will host the 2012 “Moreno Valley Idol” competition during the 4th of July Family Fun Fest celebration. 452D BOMB WING REUNION APRIL 24 IN HEMET
The 452d Bomb Wing will hold a reunion, Tues., April 24, at the Hemet, Calif., Elks Club located at 1305 W. Florida St. The event is scheduled for 10 – 11 a.m. followed by lunch. Ed Whaley is driving 1,200 miles to attend and renew his Korean War acquaintances. Members from the 452d Air Mobility Wing who are interested in the history are invited to attend.

BUNDLES FOR BABIES RESCHEDULED FOR JUNE
The Airman and Family Readiness Center will hold its next Bundles for Babies Workshop on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, 2 – 4 p.m., in the Mission Support Group conference room at 1261 Graeber St, Bldg 2313. The workshop is for all base personnel who are expecting or those with a newborn. Pre-registration is required by e-mailing Valerie Fioretta at valerie.fioretta@us.af.mil.
