Quarterly award winners


Brig. Gen. Karl McGregor, 452d Air Mobility Wing commander, presented awards for the second quarter of 2012 during the commander’s call May 6.

Senior Airman Jeffery Jensen, 452d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, was recognized as the wing’s Airman of the Quarter.

Master Sgt. Octavio Ortiz received a special award for outstanding service on behalf of Master Sgt. Ericka Kelly, 452 AMW command chief, who is represented by Chief Master Sgt. Timi Levy (right), 452d Aerospace Medicine Squadron. Ortiz was also recognized as the Senior NCO of the Quarter.

Capt. Jessica Salvatore, 452d Maintenance Squadron, was recognized as the wing’s Company Grade Officer of the Quarter.

Senior Airman Synove Phillips received the 2011 Force Support Airman of the Year Award for the Air Force Reserve Command.

Master Sgt. Timothy Gonzales accepted the Air Force Reserve Command Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Wing Flight Safety for FY 2011. Gonzales also accepted the AFRC Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Wing Ground Safety for FY 2011.
