Air Fest 2012: Robosaurus

Brace yourself to meet the ferocious spectacle that is Robosaurus: the 30-ton, fire-breathing, transforming T-Rex that eats cars and planes for an afternoon snack.

Robosaurus travels the country in the guise of a semi-truck, but when he gets ready for action, he transforms into a 40-foot tall metal dinosaur with power that dwarfs even his pre-historic ancestors.

When Robosaurus gets down to business, it faces his adversaries with 20-foot flames that shoot from his nose and a jaw that crushes with a staggering 28,000 pounds of pressure per square inch. This is truly a mechanical beast you want on your side.

Robosaurus is a marvel of engineering—a robot T-Rex that travels the country in the form of a futuristic trailer on the back of a semi-truck. Once it’s show time, Robosaurus transforms into a 30-ton fire-breathing colossus in less than two minutes flat.

Seeing Robosaurus in action is like watching a big-budget Hollywood movie come to life right before your eyes.
Cars and even planes are no match for Robo: its 28,000 pounds of biting force per square inch crush them like toys. Flames shoot from its nostrils in twenty-foot bursts as audiences go wild.

Robosaurus can lift 4,000 pounds and his booming voice is powered by a 6,000 watt onboard sound-system. He’s controlled by a specially trained pilot strapped inside his cranium, who manipulates 18-hydrolic functions simultaneously.

Robosaurus has been featured on talk shows, in movies and at major sporting events including appearances at Universal Studios Florida theme park, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ESPN cable sports network, a date with Super Dave and a starring role in an NBC movie, “Steel Justice.” He was also seen in “Waking Up in Reno” starring Billy Bob Thornton, Patrick Swayze, Charlize Therone and Natasha Richardson and “The Recycler” starring Hank Williams Jr.

Robosaurus, in conjunction with The Portland Rose Festival, even received an award from the International Festivals and Events Association for “The Most Creative/Effective New Stunt.”

As a Headline attraction, Robo has broken attendance records at venues such as The Superdome in New Orleans, The Kingdome in Seattle and other airshows and motorsports events across the country.
