0645 What’s that loud, irritating noise?! Oh, it’s my alarm. I can remedy that with no problem… SNOOZE button time!

0650 What’s that buzzing noise? Why did I program my phone to say, “Get up Ms. Pham you start at 0730!” Five more minutes and I should be ready to get up.

0717 My alarm never went off, or did it? Now I have to rush to get ready. Still way too groggy.

0753 I walk in the building with a guilty look on my face, even though I have a minute to spare. Let’s test the water and walk by my boss’s office to say good morning. She replies back with a smile, so I am good to go for the rest of the day.

0815 Well, it is time for me to start packing. We are moving to our new home in building 434, and we have to be out by the end of tomorrow. My stomach is growling but I can’t stop for a snack. Be quiet stomach!

1002 I have tidbits of conversations with people in Civilian Personnel about our move. I will really miss all of them!

1100 Almost done packing, so hopefully I can start getting rid of the clutter and mess after lunch.

1130 Lunch time!

1313 The boys from Outdoor Recreation came over to collect some of our things. Thanks Mike and Cory for the help! If it weren’t for you guys, I’d be sweating and straining and definitely complaining.

1412 I didn’t realize how much stuff I had ’til today. Almost everything is boxed up. I wonder who is going vacuum the dust and paper shards? If I ask the boss, I already know what the answer is so I might as well get to it.

1525 Maybe I can convince the boss to let me go to the office early. “Hey Sandy, can I head over to — what, I can?” She must have read my mind, I didn’t even finish my question. Such a great boss!

1530 As I step into my new office, I see all the packed boxes and clutter again, and I realize I am NOT so excited anymore. Nobody likes unpacking.

1600 Perfect time for a break. Maybe I will go around my new place of work for a meet-n-greet.

1625 I’m told that the building is secured by Cliff at exactly 1630, so if you don’t want to spend the night, it’s best to leave on time.

1638 Home! I kick off my shoes, turn on the fan and plop onto my bed.
