0700 Wake up with the competition routine on my mind, I’m five days out!

0715 Eat a healthy breakfast with of plenty of carbs.

0800 Dedicate an hour to honor God and give thanks. He is my driving force!

0930 Talk with my friend about some break-dancing moves I’m going to throw in to spice things up.

1000 Head to the gym to put in some time working the routine.

1010 30 minutes of warm up (stretching, element holds, core work).

1040 After working up a good sweat, I take a second to rest and tape up. Pre-existing injuries from my old tumbling days can get annoying.

1050 Working without a coach can be difficult, so I set up a video camera to help me see elements that I need to work on.

1100 A solid hour of my practice is dedicated to strictly completing the routine. I go through the first routine without my music and then play it during the others.

1200 After running through the routine a few times, I review the video to see what elements need work. I spend the next 30 minutes working those.

1230 Immediately following practice I grab my protein shake.

1300 Healthy lunch! I’m not on a super strict diet because I need to keep my strength up for the routine, however, lean meats and few carbs are still a must.

1630 Time to head out for a quick tanning session. Being dark is vital to show muscle definition.

1730 Now it’s time to attend a quick posing practice with one of my favorite pro bodybuilders. Here I discover the real challenge of the show….WALKING IN HEELS!

1830 Quick dinner consisting of lean meats and veggies and then some time with the best friend before heading to the gym to lift.

1930 CROSSFIT TIME! I complete the workout of the day, with a little muscle isolation added.

2030 One more protein shake, and I’m done for the day.

2200 Bed time at 2200? Umm yes…because I get to do it all over again tomorrow!
