RETIREMENT CEREMONY FOR MAJ. GWEN JOAN MORSE

LEAGUE OF LATIN AMERICAN CITIZENS MARCH CHAPTER MEETS AUG 18

The March LULAC chapter will meet, Saturday, Aug. 18, 11 a.m. in the Mission Support Group conference room. All are welcome to join them as they set their sights on future goals. SIGN UP FOR THE 752D MDS GOLF TOURNEY

SEPTEMBER YELLOW RIBBON EVENT

Registration will soon open for the September Yellow ribbon event. The event will be held from Sept. 14 to 16 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will host programs, resources, referrals and services to minimize stress on families during all phases of deployment. SINGER AND MASTER OF CEREMONIES NEEDED FOR MILITARY BALL

Auditions for a Master of Ceremonies and a National Anthem singer for the Nov. 17 military ball will be held Saturday, Sept. 8 at Sally’s Alley. Singing auditions are scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. and Master of Ceremonies auditions are scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Those interested should contact Chief Master Sgt. 5K RUN VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The March Fitness Center, America’s Kids/Adult Run and the First Sergeants’ Association are hosting a 9/11 Remembrance 5K on the morning of the Military Appreciation Picnic, Sept. 8. The event will begin with registration at 6:30 a.m. and the 5K will start at 8 a.m. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up/tear down, manning of water stations, registration, distribution of T-Shirts and timekeepers. ATTENTION MARCH RUNNERS-UPDATE!

A note from Lt. Col. Kraiger on ORE support: Runners on ADVON or part of maintenance generation should still be able to participate in the marathon and be back in time to process for the ORE. Maj. Brockshus is working to pre-process affected runners on Sep. 13, so they can travel to the event and return Sunday, Sep. 16. Upon return, they will be given a chalk report time. For more information on availability or to inquire about lunches for the flight to the marathon, contact Chief Master Sgt.Terry L. Luzader, chief, NAF Aviation Resource Functional Manager at 951-655-7608.

452D AMW MILITARY BALL

The 452d AMW Military Ball will be held Nov. 17, at the Pechanga Casino, 45000 Pechanga Parkway. Room reservations can be made at www.penchaga.com or call 877-711-2WIN, option 1.
