452D FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OFFERS DTS TRAINING

Financial Management will conduct DTS training every unit training assembly, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Building 466. Items of interest will include responsibilities of the member and approving official relating to submissions, travel authorizations, vouchers and cancellations. ATTENTION ALL MARCH PERSONNEL

Construction for the new running track and associated buildings is underway at the north end of the base near the softball field. It is imperative that all unauthorized personnel stay out of the area. For everyone’s safety, please use the base 1.5-mile track. ATTENTION FITNESS INSTRUCTORS!

SINGLE AIRMAN’S PROGRAM ANNOUNCES TRIPS SPONSORED BY THE AIRMEN & FAMILY READINESS CENTER

The following trips are open to all base personnel, although priority will be given to single Airmen:

  • Sep. 22 – Deep Sea Fishing, capacity 34. (Participants will pay for bait, meals, fishing license and equipment rental.)
  • Sep. 29 – Zip Line at Big Bear at Onyx Summit, capacity 24 (FREE)
  • Oct. 13 – Indoor Go-Cart Racing in Ontario, capacity 24 (Cost $7.50 for transportation)
  • Oct. 20 – Skydiving in Perris, capacity 10 (FREE)
  • Nov. 10 – Vertical Rock Climbing at Joshua Tree, capacity 24 (FREE)
  • Dec. 15 – Horseback Riding, capacity 24 (FREE)
  • Jan. 12 – Shotguns and Single Airmen (shooting competition), capacity 24  (FREE)

The base Civil Engineer is conducting a transportation survey to evaluate existing traffic conditions and transportation needs at March ARB. This survey is anonymous and will be used to better understand existing traffic conditions and identify key areas for future improvements. KEEPING THE FLAG MAMA SPIRIT ALIVE

POW/MIA CEREMONY

March will hold its annual POW/MIA ceremony at the Cultural Resource Center, Friday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. This year’s guest speaker will be Mr. Cecil Davis, an American POW at Dachau, a concentration camp located in Upper Bavaria, Germany. There will be a reception following the ceremony. All with access to March ARB are welcomed to attend.

452D AMW MILITARY BALL

163 RW AIRMAN OF THE YEAR BANQUET

The 163rd Reconnaissance Wing will be presenting its annual Airman of the Year banquet, Saturday, Oct. 13. The event will be held at the Air National Guard hanger, Building 2305, on Airlift Way.
