THE 2013 COMBINED FEDERAL CAMPAIGN NEEDS YOUR HELP

The Combined Federal Campaign kicks-off at the Hap Arnold Club, Oct. 24. Campaign activities start at 9 a.m. and will last until 3 p.m. The campaign will last until Dec. 7 and all are welcome to participate. TR Position Open at the Airman & Family Readiness Center

The Airman & Family Readiness Center is looking for an outstanding traditional reservist NCO who wants to enhance his or her military career by helping our Airmen and their families achieve mission readiness through personal and family readiness. DID YOU KNOW…

As per AFI 36-2903 women are now authorized to wear the men’s service cap (wheel cap).

6.2.2. The Women’s Service Cap (Bucket Cap). Will only be worn with the service dress, service and maternity service dress and service uniforms. Women are authorized to wear the men’s service cap. For placement of appropriate clouds, darts and cap insignia, refer to the AFI.

PUSHING UP FOR GLORY

Congratulations to Senior Airman Jason Blinstrub from 452d Maintenance Squadron for winning the March Field push-up competition, Oct. 4, with 135 push-ups. Staff Sgt. BEACON SEEKS ORI STORIES

2012-2013 FLU SEASON CAMPAIGN STILL ON

The 452nd Aeromedical Squadron will be providing flu shots and mist to military members (on military status) — those over 49 years old must take the shot. Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. For more information, contact Maj. Lorraine Assumma at 951-655-6261.

STROLL INTO WINTER THE HEALTHY WAY WITH WEIGHT WATCHERS

All Team March employees and their family members are invited to attend a complimentary Weight Watchers meeting any Thursday at noon at Aces Sports Bar in the Hap Arnold Club to learn how the program works. BUNDLES FOR BABIES CLASS SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER

The Airman and Family Readiness Center will hold its next Bundles for Babies Workshop Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m., in the Mission Support Group conference room at Bldg. 2313, for all base personnel who are expecting or those with a newborn. 452D FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT OFFERS DTS LAB

Financial Management will conduct DTS computer labs every Unit Training Assembly, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Building 466. NOVEMBER YELLOW RIBBON EVENT OPENS FOR REGISTRATION

Register for the November Yellow Ribbon event. The venue will be held at Tysons Corner, Va., Washington D.C. metropolitan area from Nov. 16 to18. EMPLOYER APPRECIATION DAYS POSTPONED

Construction for the new running track and associated buildings is underway at the north end of the base near the softball field.
