The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West is stationed in the San Francisco Bay area at Travis Air Force Base, California. The only active duty Air Force band west of the Rockies, the Band of the Golden West is comprised of 47 talented and versatile Airmen-musicians under the command of Captain Jason S. Plosch. In addition to performing for civilian communities throughout the states of California, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah, the band supports 13 Air Force Bases, 8 Air Force Reserve Wings, and 6 recruiting squadrons in over 250 annual performances for 1.5 million listeners.

Mobility, a subdivision of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, is an upbeat group of talented musicians who perform rock, jazz, and blues favorites, new and old. Mobility will be playing at the following locations around March Field on Dec. 5:

0900 – 0930    Fire department (kitchen)
0940 – 1010    452 AMXS Bldg 1211 (auditorium)
1020 – 1050    PAX terminal or Hangar 385 (if Marines are there)
1100 – 1150    CRC (for wing staff and any others)
1200 – 1315    lunch
1325 – 1425    Exchange (out front or just inside)
1440 – 1510    APS (conference room)
1520 – 1550    729 AS (atrium or conference room)
1600 – 1630    SFS Hangar
1730 – 1800     March Field Museum
