452nd Wing Commander Announces:

Col. Mahaney directs that all wing members on UTA status on Sep. 7 must share in the Wingman Day activities as either a participant or a spectator until activities end at 11:30 a.m. No one is authorized to remain in their work areas as this is a SECDEF-directed stand down.

Personnel are authorized to sign in wearing the uniform of the day or PT uniform and remain in either during morning activities.

Beginning at 11:30 a.m., all wing members are permitted to change into civilian clothes or may remain in PT gear or their UOD for commander’s call at La May Park, followed by the Military Appreciation Picnic.
Please see your squadron or group commander for any variations to this schedule of events.

Sally’s Alley will be open after the picnic, as well as Aces’ Sports Bar, where you can watch the Notre Dame vs. Michigan game on the big screen. At the conclusion of the game, the DJ will play music all night long.
