NEWS BRIEFS OCT UTA CANCELLATION

Due to circumstance beyond our control associated with the shutdown of the federal government, the Wing Commander has made the decision that the 452 Air Mobility Wing will be rescheduling the OCT A UTA originally scheduled for Oct. 5, 6. Group Commanders (Wing CC for wing staff) will establish a liberal reschedule policy for their personnel. Col Mahaney says: “ We tried to delay the reschedule as long as possible in hopes that things would turn around, but we have unfortunately reached the point of no return and must reschedule the UTA. Because we are past the point of no return, this decision will not change should the federal government resume full-operations between now and the weekend.”
