0600-Alarm goes off….What day is it???
0610-Get out of bed make breakfast…. Where’s my coffee?? Thank God for java!
0630-Wake up my daughter get her ready for school and myself ready for work.
0715-Take my daughter to school and fight traffic all the way.
0745-Arrive at work
0800-On my second cup of coffee, thanks to my boss.
0815-Read and answer E-mails
0913-Worked on time card, the session only expired on me five times today instead of 12.
0918-Aero Repair called concerning the process of turning in their Medical Respirator Questioners.
0930-Went to Hazmat Pharmacy evaluated hazardous materials with Mabel, our Hazmat Pharmacy Operator.
1030-Discussed with co-workers the lighting for the new gun range. Really working on getting that facility open.
1114-Signed a 332 work order for outdoor recreation.
1200-1300-Lunch time. Feels like a good day for soup.
1315-Started Quarterly Unknown Sample Identification (QUSI), these graded exercises test our working knowledge of our equipment and operating procedures for our Emergency Response Package. LET’S ROLL!
1351-Received notice that the Great Shake-Out exercise was cancelled due to ongoing government shutdown and uncertainties. (Should be prepared at all times.)
1446-Attend weekly office meeting to discuss progress and status on industrial shops, various OSHA/AFOSH programs and current wing information. It’s too bad so many events are being cancelled due to the government shut down.
1600-Worked on the shop’s Enterprise Environmental Safety Occupational Health Information System (EESOH-MIS) reports. Ensuring chemical products are screened and properly loaded into the system to ensure the wing can complete its mission and all members are healthy and ready to deploy.
1619-Received AtHoc notice on cancellation of B UTA via office phone, personal cell phone, computer notification and E-mail. Can’t say I didn’t get that message.
1635-Got a phone call from the 163rd Safety representative to discuss wing safety concerns. GO TEAM MARCH!
