Hobbies: Reading, going to the beach, hiking and other activities with my kids

“With all of the holidays and special days we have throughout the year, I see Halloween as another opportunity to spend time with my three sons. We would normally go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood or go to a local mall. I will not be wearing a costume, but my kids will be Superman, a Star Wars Jedi Knight and the Green Lantern. Halloween is a fun time for the kids but, I make sure my kids are safe by using flashlights, glow-in-the-dark candy bags, and anything else that will ensure their fun and safety.”

Hobbies: Cooking, wine tasting, sewing, camping, Skyping, spending time with my kids and boyfriend

“My boyfriend and I will be passing out candy during Halloween night while our dogs watch from close by. We will decorate our house, and I believe the scarier the better.I love dressing up as well as the scary decorations and the beginning of the Fall season. This year I will be dressing up as a zombiefied bar wench, which is what I wore for Halloween when I owned a wine store. Some of my greatest childhood Halloween memories are of costumes my mother made. I also remember the Creature from the Black Lagoon and Snoopy costumes that I made for my kids.”

Hobbies: Car racing

“During the month of October, my family goes to either the Los Angeles Haunted Hay Ride near Griffith Park or the Pierce College Pumpkin Patch, also in LA, to celebrate the season. Me, my wife, Tammy, and two daughters, Kammie and Kamyra, 13-year-old twins, enjoy trick-or-treating in the Long Beach area on Halloween. The holiday is a great time for the kids to dress up and partake in some candy. Halloween is funny because kids act like they are ‘all that’ but when it comes down to it, if a creature of something approaches them, they take off running. Laughter is good medicine!”
