TRICARE HEALTH INSURANCE MEETS AFFORDABLE CARE ACT MINIMUMS

Beginning in 2014, the Affordable Care Act requires individuals to maintain a minimum level of health insurance, known as “minimum essential coverage” (MEC), for themselves and their dependents. If you are a service member, retiree, family member, or survivor covered by TRICARE, you have MEC and there is no need to purchase additional health insurance. If you are using any of the health plan options shown on the TRICARE web site, you have the coverage required by the Affordable Care Act. Visit: http://www.tricare.mil/FAQs/Print.aspx?Ids=%7b3C4D017B-0081-4471-A86E-26DE096E96B7%7d.  For more specific questions, call your TRICARE contractor at 877-988-9378 for West Region; 800-444-5445 for South Region; 877-874-2273 for North Region.

CITY TO WIDEN CACTUS AVE AT MAIN GATE

The City of Moreno Valley will start construction to widen Cactus Ave soon and continue through January 2014. The construction area will start where the north-bound, high-speed off ramp from I-215 meets Cactus Ave. all the way through to Veterans Way. This may cause some disruptions with entering the installation and possible traffic delays. For now, the main gate will remain open as usual. However, the project will be monitored for the duration of the construction in order to ensure the safety of March employees and Moreno Valley citizens. Please be patient and cautious while operating your motor vehicle in and around the construction zone.
