Total Force Integration in action, providing fuel to fight

A U.S. Air Force Reserve-owned KC-135 Stratotanker, currently attached to the 340th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, refuels an A-10 Thunderbolt II from the 74th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan Jan. 7, 2014, over Northeast, Afghanistan. The crew of the Stratotanker, deployed from the active associate 912th Air Refueling Squadron, March Air Reserve Base, Calif., provided fuel for coalition aircraft during their more than ten-hour-long combat sortie.
