MARCH VITA CENTER NEEDS RESERVISTS TO STEP UP AND HELP

The March Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Center is open for business by appointment only. To schedule an appointment to have your state/federal taxes filed, call 951-655-4454.

They are still looking for Reserve volunteers to donate four hours per week to help prepare taxes.

*To volunteer, visit https://www.linklearncertification.com/d and create an account. Then complete all training listed under the “Military” tab.

*Submit the certificates to david.shore@us.af.mil or and let him know which days and hours you are available to volunteer during the week.

COMMISSARY’S CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY TODAY

The March ARB Commissary is having a Customer Appreciation Day today, Friday, Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day. The first 500 customers shopping between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., and wearing something related to Valentine’s Day, will receive a free valentine treat, compliments of the commissary’s industry partners. They will also be holding drawings for a $25 gift certificate at 11 a.m., noon and hourly from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The commissary and its industry partners wish their military community a great Valentine’s Day.

AMERICAN RED CROSS CALLS FOR VOLUNTEERS

The American Red Cross has volunteer opportunities available. If you are curious about them or are already a volunteer and want to expand your volunteer experience, come to the Opportunity Fair, Saturday, March 1, at the Riverside County Chapter, 6235 River Crest Dr., Riverside, Calif. 92507 from 10 a.m. to noon. Riverside gate open limited hours on utas

Security Forces would like to remind everyone that the Riverside Gate, on Riverside Drive, near Bldg. 601 (4th Combat Camera Squadron), is open on the A and B Unit Training Assembly weekends as follows: 5:30-7:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., 3:30-5:30 p.m.

AIRMAN & FAMILY READINESS – WAYS TO SAVE

The March Airman and Family Readiness office is sponsoring a free workshop in conjunction with Military Saves Week, Feb. 24-28. “Ways to Save” will focus on this year’s theme—Set a goal, make a plan, save automatically. The workshop will be Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Mission Support Group conference room in Bldg. 2313, Room 6. Pre-registration is mandatory at valerie.fioretta@us.af.mil. Seating is limited. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Air Force Reserve Command Yellow Ribbon Program helps maintain resiliency during all stages of deployment and is paramount to the morale and welfare of our Airmen and families.
