Chief Information Systems Technician Christian Joson, left, and Utilitiesman 1st Class John Anderson conduct a seasonal military uniform inspection of service members assigned to Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division April 3. This inspection, in which 14 members from three service branches participated, emphasizes the increase in uniformed military members present at the warfare center, which is largely staffed by civilians as part of its science and engineering mission. Many of these servicemembers are activated reservists whose work bolsters the mission of NSWC Corona, the Navy’s designated technical agent for measurement science, range systems engineering, and the independent assessment of performance, quality and readiness.
