CMSAF ALL CALL JULY 12-13

Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Cody will be holding two “All Call’s” during his upcoming visit to March ARB. These events will provide a unique opportunity to hear some perspective directly from Headquarters Air Force level. The E-1 through E-6 “All Calls” will be held in Hangar 452 on July 12 at 8 a.m. The senior non-commissioned officer and company-grade officer “All Calls” will be held at Hangar 452 on July 13 at 8 a.m. These events will begin promptly, so plan to be in place by 7:45 a.m. Ample parking is available behind the Education Center (Bldg. 441) or in the lot across the street from the flag pole (Bldg. 470). Walking to the event is encouraged!

BARBER NEEDED

March ARB is looking for a barber to fill an opening at the base barber shop. Interested applicants must contact King Bishop at 951-655-3227 by 1 p.m. on July 14. Requirements for the position can be found on the contracting opportunities board located at the Visitor Control Center. The barber shop will remain closed until the position is filled.

COSTA MESA YELLOW RIBBON EVENT

The Air Force Reserve Command Yellow Ribbon Program invites you to a Regional Yellow Ribbon Training event to be held in Costa Mesa, California, July 18-20. This event will include activities, referral information, education, vendor booths and interactive breakout sessions that span the concerns and issues faced by reservists and their loved ones before and after a deployment, including: Tricare, Airmen & Family Readiness, ESGR, legal assistance for wills & powers of attorney, Military Family Life Consultants, Personal Financial Consultants, and more. ROA NATIONAL CONVENTION

The Reserve Officers Association (ROA) will hold its National Convention in Long Beach, California July 23 – 26. All non-commissioned, warrant and commissioned offers are invited to attend. The Department of the Golden West will hold its Fall Council Meeting at Nellis AFB, Nevada from September 26 – 27.

MILITARY BALL AUDITIONS

Auditions will be held for National Anthem singers and the Master/Mistress of Ceremonies for the 2014 Military Ball on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. in Sally’s Alley behind the Hap Arnold Club. Come one, come all and show us what you’ve got!

CASTLE PARK, MARITIME MUSEUM TICKETS AVAILABLE
