VETERANS’ ROUNDTABLE

(Cathedral City, CA)  RSVP requested for Dr. Ruiz Veterans Roundtable on Aug. 20, 2015.

Mark your calendar and don’t miss the opportunity to interact with our own Congressman

regarding veteran’s issues. Congressman Ruiz has been a strong advocate for veteran’s rights since he was first elected to Congress nearly three years ago. During that time, he has helped many local veterans personally with their benefits and used his position on the Veterans Committee in Washington to help pass important legislation regarding veteran’s rights, especially regarding support from the local VA hospitals.

On Thursday August 20th at 1:30 p.m. there will be a Veteran’s Roundtable at the Cathedral City Corps of the Salvation Army located at 30-400 Landau Blvd in Cathedral City. The Congressman will address the audience concerning what is currently being done to improve the quality of assistance to veterans and what is being proposed. He will also entertain questions and answers from those in attendance as time allows. Experts will be there to help individuals with their unique problems and help them get started on a solution. The goal is to constructively identify and address the most pressing concerns that veterans in the area have, regarding their benefits.

This is a great opportunity to interact with your representative in Washington so don’t miss out. Pass the word on to others who you know will benefit from being there. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Young at majorbill1@aol.com or 760-861-0037. Please RSVP to Tony Aguilar at tony.aguilar@mail.house.gov or 760/424-8888.
