Change brings opportunity

Sgt. Maj. William Shaw, outbound Marine Attack Squadron 311 Sergeant Major, followed by Sgt. Maj. David Wilson, Sacramento native and oncoming VMA-311 Sergeant Major complete the passing of the sword during a relief and appointment ceremony at the squadron hangar June 13.

Lt. Col. Michael Prosser, outbound Marine Wing Support Squadron 371 commanding officer, who is heading to the Naval War College in Washington D.C., and Lt. Col. John D. Fleming, oncoming MWSS-371 commanding officer, exchange the squadron colors at the MWSS-371 Change of Command ceremony June 12 on the station parade deck. Prosser assumed command of MWSS-371 in June 2010.Fleming previously served as the Combat Logistics Regiment 1 executive officer before reporting to MCAS Yuma.
