Debunking Lance Corporal underground myths

Q: Are we supposed to salute the flag outside the headquarters building when walking past it?

A: Per MARINE CORPS ORDER P10520.3B you only have to render a salute during colors. However, there is nothing that actually states you shouldn’t salute the flag.
