Debunking Lance Corporal underground myths

Q:  Do I have to wear my cover while driving on base?

 

A: According to MCO P1020.34G, headgear will be worn in government vehicles, and in privately owned vehicles on military bases and installations, except when doing so would present a hazard to safe driving. So Marines and sailors thinking they may remove their cover just because they’re in the safety of their own vehicles, you are wrong, Devil Dog.
