A: According to MCO 3070.2.34G, there’s a paragraph stating one of the procedures to hold up OPSEC is to “create confusion about or cause multiple interpretations of vital information taken from open sources.” So you could really, really stretch that to include not shaving, but most commanders will probably not go for that.
