Students of Yuma’s Kofa High School’s top production performance class held a night of Military Appreciation on Sept. 20. “The plays are military themed,” said Nicola Olsen, Kofa High School’s drama director and a native of Smithville, Utah. “There’s one about post-traumatic stress disorder, there’s one about soldier Frank Sandoval, another about World War One, one about the war in Afghanistan, and one about a young boy dealing with the loss of his father.”
