Annual Operation Ball Gown brings high fashion to MCAS

1st Lt. Steven E. Nye, Jr., and wife Samantha Nye work the catwalk during the annual Operation Ball Gown fashion show Oct. 5 at the station enlisted club, Club Pulse. The fashion show portrayed a variety of ball gowns in anticipation of this year’s Marine Corps Ball.

Cressie Mabins models a burgundy gown during the annual Operation Ball Gown Oct. 5 at the station enlisted club Club Pulse. Each model was escorted by a Marine dawning his uniform or a dashing tuxedo and entertained the crowd with beautiful gowns and hastly choreographed dance moves.

Marines and models take their final walk during the Operation Ball Gown fashion show Oct. 5. Immediately following the fashion show, attendees participated in a free ball gown giveaway, fashion show, prizes and food.
