WTI 1-13

Marines with 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense Battalion form a security perimeter during a noncombatant evacuation operation exercise at Kiwanis Park in Yuma, Ariz., in support of the Weapons and Tactics Instructor course, Oct. 19. NEOs are conducted in order to evacuate noncombatants from hostile locations.

Flying an AV-8B Harrier II, MAWTS-1 instructor pilot Maj. Brett McGregor takes on fuel from a KC-130J Hercules 13,000 feet over MCAS Yuma, Oct. 11. Maj. McGregor and wingman Maj. Mike McKenney were part of a Defensive Counter-Air training mission, air-to-air combat defending a friendly position, in this case Yuma.
