Spooktacular Halloween Festivities take over MCAS Yuma

Almost too gory for a Saturday afternoon, GySgt. Jimmy Spence, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma Career Planner, and his daughter show off their decorated trunk at MCAS Yuma’s Trunk or Treat Halloween Festival Oct. 27. Spence and his daughter won second place receiving a $200 gift card and said it only took them about 30 minutes to set up the trunk.

Racing to finish a whipped cream pie, military children from Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Yuma Proving Ground and surrounding areas spent the afternoon at MCAS Yuma’s Trunk or Treat Halloween Festival on Oct. 27. The event included costume contests for ages 1 to adult, two haunted houses in differing degrees of fright, an arts and crafts area, decorated trunks contest, a dunking booth, loads of food and drinks and plenty of smiles.
