After perusing the numerous barbershops throughout Yuma, I have now dedicated my weekly haircut to the Masterpiece Barbershop off of 4th Ave. just north of 14th St.
Masterpiece has been far and above the best location for getting a trim I have found in Yuma. From the friendly and skilled barbers to the numerous flat-screen televisions playing movies and sports, they have everything one can desire in a haircut.
They offer military haircuts for $10 and are open every day but Sunday. Though the cost and the drive are a little more than the Marine Corps Exchange, the quality of service definitely makes it worth it. Not to mention avoiding the tremendous wait caused by an influx of Marines is wonderful.
I would recommend giving Masterpiece a try, especially if there is a special event coming where you want to look your best.
