First ‘Diamond Sharp’ Award presented by Nellis First Sergeants

The First Sergeant’s Diamond Sharp Award is designed to recognize an individual who truly stands out with abilities, shear drive and characteristic traits most others do not possess. MacPhail was presented the award when he and his team installed the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system on 200 computers within three days and verified vital Integrated Maintenance Data System connectivity to 12 hangers in support of over 1000 Red Flag 12-3 missions flown.
