Nellis community involved in baseball and heritage parade & festival events

As one of the oldest traditions in Henderson, the parade featured a grand procession of unique entries, from floats to youth groups and hometown businesses to automobiles.

Angela Pollard, 99th Medical Operations Squadron NCO in charge of the emergency room, and Senior Airman Tyler Jones, 99th Communications Squadron radio frequency transmitter technician and maintainer, wave to the audience during the Henderson Heritage Parade and Festival April 21, 2012, in Henderson, Nev. As part of their duties as grand marshals, the selected Airmen led the parade procession through the historic Water Street District.

Five Airmen from Nellis Air Force Bace were selected to be grand marshals of the parade for their exemplary service, extraordinary accolades and dedication to protecting the United States.
