Nellis changes custodial contract

By 99th Air Base Wing Public Affairs

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. — Beginning May 1, 2012, custodial services for facilities on Nellis Air Force Base will be reduced to restroom cleaning only due to budget constraints.

Child Development Centers, Youth Centers and Fitness Centers are the only exceptions to the new standard.

Langley Air Force Base adopted the new cleaning standards as of April 1, 2012.

Units may purchase cleaning equipment and supplies with the Government Purchase Card. Andrew Grove, Nellis GPC program manager, can answer questions about GPC purchases. His duty number is 682-3348.

Changes to cleaning procedures should only take a few extra minutes each week to ensure work areas retain professional appearance.

Contact the 99th Civil Engineer customer service at 682-2301 with any questions regarding changes to the Custodial Contract.
