Community Happenings May 18, 2012

Caring for People Forum School Support Group, May 24:  The Airman & Family Readiness Center is in need of 12-15 participants for the Caring for People Forum School Support Group, scheduled for May 24. Servicemembers, dependents, civilians, and teens with ideas and concerns about local military child education can lend their recommendations to a group discussion scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to noon. Forums such as this have produced lasting positions in use today, such as School Liaison Officers, Exceptional Family Member Program Coordinators and other positions meant to provide more support for Air Force families, so it’s definitely worth the time and effort. If you or anyone you know is interested, please call Ron Gibson, School Liaison Officer at (702) 652-3327 or (702)-521-5073 as soon as possible.
