A reminder for Flag Day

The Nellis  Honor Guard present the colors while a member of the U.S. Air Force Academy Parachute Team displays the American flag. Flag Day, celebrated June 14, commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States. The day was proclaimed so by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916 and by congressional act in 1946, but remains a patriotic observance rather than an official federal holiday. Flag Day coincides with the Army Birthday, also established by Congress on June 14th in 1775.
