Midway White III on the Nevada Test and Training Range

The Joint exercise is designed to provide urgently needed data to the warfighter at a fraction of the time and cost of a traditional Defense Threat Reduction Agency test or experiment series.

A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress, 340th Weapons Squadron, Barksdale Air Force Base, La., participates in MIDWAY WHITE III over the Nevada Test and Training Range. MIDWAY WHITE III is designed to improve consistency and lethality against vertical targets within a cave attack arena.

The data gathered from the training attacks executed in MIDWAY WHITE III is utilized to aid or enhance ongoing Defense Threat Reduction Agency programs.
