Dental Squadron Seeking Qualified Patients

The 99th Dental Squadron residency program is seeking patients requiring multiple dental specialties. Patients must present a need for two or more types of specialty care. Applicants must be a military retiree. If interested, please call Staff Sgt. Gardner at 653-2623 or Airman Vences at 653-2600, or e-mail Staff Sgt. Gardner at taurean.gardner@nellis.af.mil.

Lane closures at Satellite Pharmacy

All lanes in the Satellite Pharmacy drive-thru will be closed beginning July 2, until Aug. 3, for a construction improvement project. The drive-thru lanes will re-open on Aug. 6. We apologize for this inconvenience. During the time of construction, pharmacy clients can utilize the Satellite Pharmacy lobby pick-up windows.

Nellis Military Clothing Store

The Nellis Military Clothing Store is stocking the rip-stop Airman Battle Uniform. Nellis is one of the first installations to receive this high-demand item. The Rip-Stop ABU is available now.

The Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center

The Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center’s Pediatrics, Family Health and Immunizations Clinics are offering extended hours to increase the availability of care. Patients should seek care via the appointment line instead of the Emergency Room for primary care needs, as more appointments are now available. Patients with non-emergency health concerns may experience very long waits at the ER since patients must be treated in order of seriousness, and may overtax Emergency Room resources while unfilled appointments are available through regular appointments. The MOFMC appointment line can be reached at 702-653-CARE (653-2273). Patients with emergency care needs should still seek care at the emergency room, or dial 911 for life-threatening medical emergencies.
