Q. My mother is my dependent. Can she see a military doctor?
A. The dependent parent/in-law must have a Military ID from DEERS before being able to enroll into TRICARE Plus. Also, they must live in this area to be enrolled into our TPlus program. Once a dependent parent/in-law is enrolled into TPlus, they will be assigned a primary care manager here at the Military Treatment Facility. They will be able to utilize any of the services that can be provided to them at this facility. TPlus only covers care within the MTF. There is no coverage if they are referred or just go off base for care.
