Butler received the May Diamond Sharp Award for his exemplary accomplishment leading a $14 billion dollar aircraft acquisition program completion with no delays, his efforts organizing a unit donation to a local shelter for over 160 residents and he completed his SNCOA PME Course 14 ahead of his peers.
