Retiree Appreciation Day

Thanks to many who have served our country….

 

Explaining the EOD mission . . .

Flu shots offered . . .
Staff Sgt. Greer Keith, 99th Medical Operations Squadron allergy and immunization non-comissioned officer in charge, administers a flu shot to Ed Gardener, a United States Air Force retiree, during Retiree Appreciation Day, Sept. 15, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Four members of the 99th MDOS administered 350 flu shots during the event.

 

Airman 1st Class Courtney Williams, 99th Comptroller Squadron, serves food to retirees and their families during Retiree Appreciation Day, Sep. 15, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Approximately 810 individuals attended this year’s event, which included military demonstrations, medical resources and entertainment.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Dental exams offered . . .
Capt. Nathan Larson, dental resident, and Senior Airman Elizabeth Gonzalez, dental assistant, 99th Dental Squadron, examine Timothy Mancour’s teeth during Retiree Appreciation Day, Sept. 15, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Twenty seven 99th Dental Squadron members provided 150 dental screenings. The staff had a 20 percent increase of individuals seen from the previous year.

 

Putting the working dogs through their paces . . .
